Terms of Service

1. Account & eligibility

You must be at least 18 to sign up on your own. Between 13 and 18, you need a parent or guardian’s verifiable consent. Under 13 is not allowed.

You’re responsible for keeping your credentials safe. If someone else uses your account, tell us immediately at support@fluentoai.com.

2. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for anything illegal under Indian law.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse our voice APIs.
• Impersonate others, harass AI characters in ways designed to produce harmful output, or try to extract our prompts or model weights.
• Resell or redistribute your subscription, or share a single account across more than one person.
• Upload content you don’t have the rights to share.

We may throttle, warn, or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

3. Subscriptions & pricing

• Pro (monthly): ₹199 per month, auto-renews each month.
• Annual: ₹1,499 per year (around ₹4/day), auto-renews yearly.
• Lifetime: ₹4,999 one-time — valid for the lifetime of the product, not the user.

You can cancel auto-renewal anytime from Settings or your Play Store / App Store account. Cancellation stops the next charge; you keep access until the current period ends.

Prices are inclusive of GST. We may change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

4. Refunds

• Annual: 7-day no-questions-asked refund from first purchase.
• Monthly: no refunds after the first day of use in that billing cycle.
• Lifetime: 14-day refund window from first purchase.

Refunds go back to the original payment method within 7 working days. For refund requests, write to support@fluentoai.com.

5. Intellectual property

You own your stuff: your voice recordings, transcripts, and any text you write remain yours. You give us a licence to process them solely to deliver the service (see the Privacy Policy).

We own our stuff: the Fluento AI brand, Fin the mascot, our scenarios, prompts, UI, code, and models. You get a limited, revocable licence to use the product as intended — not to copy, fork, or rebrand it.

6. Termination

You can delete your account anytime from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service, or chargeback payments without a valid reason. On termination, your access ends; data is handled per the Privacy Policy.

7. Disclaimers

Fluento AI helps you practise English with AI — it is not a certified language exam, and it does not replace human instruction for medical, legal, or academic decisions. The service is provided on an “as is” basis; we don’t warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of the service is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Indian law. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka. You agree to try good-faith negotiation for 30 days before filing any claim.
